Worn and Winsome

The white rose…one of my favorite flowers (which means you can expect to see more of them in my art). Over the years, I’ve seen many different ways in which a white rose has symbolism through courtship, marriage, religion, and even ancient belief and theory. One of the most common beliefs that has been repeated is that the white rose symbolizes simplicity and purity. I’d like to think perhaps that it is the simplicity of a love you feel from your soul that is in it’s purest form. Worn and Winsome is a bow to that unique love and the strength and resiliency it preserves.
